You've heard it all before: breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Why? Eating a balanced meal for breakfast kick-starts your metabolism, helping you to burn calories throughout the day. It also gives you the energy to focus on the tasks you need to get done, as well as providing the important nutrients your body needs in order to function.
Breakfast foods are my absolute favourite type of foods. When I have the time, I like to be adventurous and have fun with my breakfast choices. As I am someone who loves fitness and exercises almost every single day, it's important that I'm fuelling my body with good food and a balanced diet to sustain my energy levels. This applies to everyone!
Below are my personal favourite breakfast recipes that I regularly incorporate into my diet to ensure I am having a nutritious start to the day. Go ahead and try them yourself - I'd love to hear your feedback.
