Feed Yourself Positivity

Writer: Christina Murphy Christina Murphy

With the amount of spare time many people have on their hands right now, there is no doubt we've seen an increase in how much time we spend on our phones. Not being able to socialise means we have more time to scroll through social media and focus our attention on what everyone else is doing. Now, this doesn't have to be a totally negative thing, but it all depends on what you are consuming when scrolling through your social media feed. It is important to ensure that the content you are consuming online has a positive impact on your mindset, decisions and motivations. Therefore, I thought it would be the perfect time to share with you some of my favourite Instagram accounts/influencers that positively inspire me and my mindset single every day.

This account is run by an amazing woman named Lacy Phillips, who is the host of her very own podcast called 'Expanded'. I've been tuning into this podcast for the past 18 months and have learned so much from Lacy's teachings around psychology, manifestation, and energetic insights. She also provides optional workshops to listeners centred around enhancing your self development and 'expanding' who you are. The content Lacy offers through her podcast, Instagram posts, and workshops is truly amazing and I would urge anyone to get on board!

Lucy is a certified Psychological Life Coach and specialises in Positive Psychology. Lucy's career and Instagram account aims to coach others to connect with themselves, redesign their environment and life path, and then take specific actions to implement positive changes. Her feed is filled with positive quotes, mantras, and practices on cognitive reframing. Take a peek at the work she is doing - I'm sure she has many exciting plans in place for 2020 and I can tell her Instagram following will grow fast!

Sarah Crosby is a Psychotherapist based in Dublin who fills her Instagram feed with 'mental notes'. When she is not running her private practice, Sarah creates content inspired to make mental health information accessible, which is delivered to her followers through sticky note-style artwork on Instagram. She is currently in the works of writing her first book, which I am eagerly awaiting the release of. Take a look at her account for some mindset-changing inspiration!

This account is run by Jill Wintersteen and is aimed at all of my fellow astrology lovers! Jill's Instagram feed is filled with inspirational quotes, artwork, and astrological insights. Jill also runs her own blog called 'Align with Magic' as well as a YouTube channel - however, she has been more active with her video content on IGTV for the past 6 months. If you a passionate about astrology or are wanting to learn more about cosmic energy and spirituality, Jill is an expert!

A few of my other favourite accounts to follow are:

I hope my recommendations inspire you to fill your feed with positivity, especially during this time. There are so many amazing content creators out there who are providing inspirational practices and guidance to people struggling with mindset and cognitive blocks. So, my best advice is to take advantage of it!

Until next time;

peace and love,

Tina
